Dysfunctional Belief System
Do you believe you’re not good enough? Do you believe that you were born a loser? Do you believe you were born to be alone for the rest of your life? Do you believe you will never find love in your life? Do you believe that you are truly ugly? Do you believe that God hates you because of the calamities you’re facing in your life? Do you believe that nothing good will ever come your way? Do you believe in the simple fact that you might be contributing to your own downfall in life? If so, take into consideration that you certainly have full control over your own universe that you create in your ever waking hour each and every day of your life.
Altering The Dysfunctional Script
There was a time when I use to believe that I sucked at drawing because I didn’t have talent or that I wasn’t a gifted artist growing up, however, I trashed that horrible script into the pits of the Loch Ness Monster’s den! Don’t get me wrong, there are times were I constantly doubt my abilities because of the high expectations that I have for myself, which can be treasonous towards developing a skill in the long run. More importantly, changing a horrible script takes a lot of mental work.
The reason why I say it takes a tremendous amount of mental work to change a horrible script is that you have to dig deeper inside your memories as to why you believe in the worst of things about yourself and the world around you. Changing a dysfunctional script is like altering a bad habit which isn’t always easy at first to change. You have to break down the particles to its simplest forms so that you can be able to understand how easy it is to change your life around. Starting small is key!
Good Thoughts + Positive Action= Eliminating A Dysfunctional Script
Your thoughts can be your greatest strength or your greatest weakness. Having a dysfunctional belief system can strip away your purpose of living a good life, whether that is being in a healthy relationship, getting a Bachelor’s Degree (that can lead you towards your desired career field), exploring the possibilities of having a successful life, and whatever comes to mind to you specifically that you desire as a positive outcome. Each one of us has our own universe that dictates our reality through the scripts that we follow on a daily basis.
Examine your belief system as if you were a scientist who’s trying to figure out a cure to a disease that is fatal to the universe (your mind itself). You have the brain of a great scientist that can combat the impossible through your persistence and intellect (intelligence comes in many various forms).
Changing your thoughts into a source of higher vibrations while taking immediate action on molding up a unique piece of art (you of course) is essential for writing a healthy script. The tip for changing your old belief system is to replace your old script of feeling like a loser into feeling like a true winner (even if it means you fail a lot till you succeed later on) by having a healthy script. The concept may seem simple to implement, however, taking action is 80% of the battle while 20% of the battle requires the consistency of rewiring your old belief systems into a new groundbreaking blockbuster script! Don’t sell your $100,000,000 blockbuster script to Hollywood though lol!
Nevertheless, don’t let your mind be your greatest arch-nemesis when it can literally be your greatest sidekick in your everyday battles. Have a good one super folks!
