This was a few years back when I met two J-Pop singers; Yumi Yoshimura and Ami Onuki. They both sang the Teen Titans (2003) opening song.

Good afternoon super friends! I hope every one of you had a great Valentines Day. Today I would just like to write something that will uplift your souls, and that will also encourage you to continue to make your life even better. So let’s jump on forward to the story!

Have The Courage

Interestingly enough, I had the courage a few years ago to sing a song to my crush on Valentines Day. I am a introvert and sometimes a part-time extrovert that lacks a bit of confidence in myself, however, I’d managed to push myself out of my comfort zone to express my love even though it was utterly embarrassing. Sometimes I look back on that memory, and cringe to myself a bit that I actually had the courage of a superhero to actually do something that didn’t fit my character script (being a introvert). What I’ve learned from this interesting experience, is that you gain a bit of confidence in yourself when you decide to toss away your “identity script” and become someone extraordinary that you’d never thought would exist in the real world.

More importantly, I have a second goofy story when I went to a New Year’s dance at Newport Beach, California. From this particular experience, I had soon discovered the truth on what it means to act on superhero mode, and to not feel any embarrassment when it comes to dancing in a crowd of hundreds of people. To be honest, I am not a professional dancer, yet it wasn’t difficult to come up with different techniques on the fly (you have to be creative). Although the music they played at the party wasn’t my cup of tea since I prefer Japanese, French, and American 1930’s, 40’s, 50’s, 80’s, and 90’s music, I still managed to unleash the super god mode of a professional dancer. One friend of mine had stated that I was like an animated person from like a cartoon or something like that was delivering powerful dance moves. Nonetheless, I had learned not to care what other people thought of me on whether I sucked as a dancer, or whether I looked goofy while making animated expressions from what you would see from a cartoon.

That night on New Years Eve was a lesson that had taught me that there was a lot of greatness within me that I’d held back from myself. The creative gift to deliver a stunning performance whether it was sloppy or not professional in the eye’s of Hollywood. I also learned how to truly believe in myself while having a blast. It took a lot of courage to act like I was something incredible which I never believed was possible for myself. To be honest, I had always believed that I was just an average dude for many long years. I had got average grades back in high school, never found love in my life, I never felt like I was genuinely good at “anything” I quote, I never believed that anything was possible for me, and so forth. I was living my life like an undead vampire that was just a lifeless creature that wanted to consume nonsense. However, I am here to tell all of you that you have to stop being afraid of looking like a fool in front the world. You have to realize the possibilities that exists within you as long as you’re soul is still burning strong as a fiery furnace. Nonetheless, start digging for the lost fossils within you that will make history!

Other than that, I still have a long way to go on my journey but as for Bilbo Baggins from The Hobbit (by J.R.R. Tolkien), he had to decide for himself if he wanted to stay in the Shire living a comfortable life, or he could venture out into a dangerous world with Gandalf and the Dwarves that would later change his life, and not to mention, his perspective on the world around him. We always have a choice on how we’re going to grow, and how we’re going to test ourselves against the greater opposition. It does suck when you have to confront your fears face to face, however, there’s also a bonus reward for doing so; the reward of developing your super courage.

All in all, learn how to step out of that hole of yours, and just have the courage to challenge yourself even when the power of fear holds a tight grip on your mind. Things will get better once you increase your experience points on developing your super courage.
