Consumed By The Illusion of Fear

When you reach a point in your life where you see yourself falling down a deep hole of misery, does it seem like the end of your life or to a new beginning? A new beginning to stop beating yourself down, but to raise yourself up from the dead of past trauma’s, past failures, and past fears that keep you stuck in the same habitual cycle of rinse and repeat. Living in the same habitual state for countless years produces the same, or even worse, new mediocre results. However, the fear and anxiety of one’s own self increases tenfold year by year. Sometimes you can’t beat your fears or anxiety by using an outdated tactical plan from the stone age.

There’s no magical element that can zap away all of our fears, yet the reality is is that we have to challenge those dreadful feelings even if our hearts are terrified to confront those issues that we eventually must overcome. You can never be resilient in this life if you stick to doing what has always been easy, and also by avoiding the challenges that makes a person tough and confident in one’s own ability to make it in this world. If you’re not right with yourself, find out the reasons why you’re not aiming for your best daily.

Fear can tell us the worst stories about our weaknesses, how we might fail horribly in the face of others, and not to mention, how our lives could end up being destroyed. This is why we must understand our fears at its peak to see if these stories that we tell ourselves are fact or fiction. We have to discern the truth behind the fears that we unintentionally give more power to. We can’t always predict what might happen in our every day lives, however, I believe it’s important to start placing a good amount on faith in the Lord.

Living in fear on a daily basis isn’t healthy. You begin to stop enjoying people’s company, you don’t take pleasure on accomplishing your goals and dreams, you lose sight of the purpose of living in the moment, and nothing seems to ever matter when fear is your only friend in mine that keeps you stuck in the state of analysis paralysis.
