The Future Is Ours

There’s power behind living through the challenges we go through. Despite the ferocious feeling of fear, which can bind us in a state of helplessness, there’s a sense of strength fighting against the odds. The very concept of life holds various meanings to all of us. We fight for something greater than ourselves. We fight for the things which give us hope and a future worth envisioning. If there isn’t anything worth fighting for, then why ever try?

I once believed I could never be anything unique. I bought into lies that stole years of my life of becoming the hero I needed to be for myself. Buying into those lies from my past failures kept me from realizing who I could become through faith, hard work, courage, and hope. Belief in yourself is one of the greatest heroic attributes to have. When you believe in yourself, everything becomes possible to face.

The future is ours.

Nobody can take away our power to be the greatest in whatever it is that we desire to be. However, we should allow our failures to strengthen us and shape our minds to something positive. We’re humans of imperfection, yet we shine through our growth, becoming our best selves.
