Letting go is one of the hardest things you’ll ever do. For me, that is an old belief system. A belief system of playing it small, not setting boundaries, running away from problems, living in the past of failures and humiliations, and hearing the voice of the devil. However, letting go of whatever keeps you bound will transform your spirit.

I am overcoming this issue by reminding myself that there’s no tomorrow promised to me. Being reminded of this simple fact has allowed me to put things into perspective. To not harbor issues of the past and to put in the work to create a fulfilling life. Each waking morning is a blessing from Jesus Christ because I am alive. Being blessed to let go of what is ancient history and to create new historical moments.

To keep it short, letting go for me is just a mindset. By feeding myself wisdom from books and through kind people, I learned how to let go of a bit of the darkness from myself. Letting go of a negative belief system about myself is a rewarding journey, yet having the courage to go through this process does come with challenges.
