Spider-Man patrolling the Kobe Beef stand in Kobe City.

“With great power comes great responsibility.” – Uncle Ben (Amazing Fantasy #15)

Living in Japan for two years, I’ve seen Spider-Man patrolling the Kobe Beef stands and restaurants in Tokyo, Osaka, and Kobe. How did the web crawler get himself tangled in this situation? Well, it’s a mystery I would not like to dig deep into since Peter has to somehow pay his rent back in New York City while being in Japan at multiple Kobe Beef shops.

Hahahahaha well it does seem like I am the new photographer getting those pictures of Spider-Man now. Maybe Mr. Jameson might offer me a position at The Daily Bugle taking those pictures of Spider-Man. I’ll tell you that chum, what a stand-up boss of the century! The man with a brush-looking mustache and an unreasonable hatred of our friendly neighborhood webhead.

It’s oddly random seeing Spider-Man posted around the Kobe Beef shops in Japan but interesting, to say the least. Spider-Man is honestly a well-beloved superhero who represents what it means to strive for greatness. He saved my life, and I love how people recognize how amazing he is. Maybe there’s an appeal to having Spider-Man representing the Kobe Beef. A greater responsibility for serving the best kind of beef in Japan.

As long as he’s defending the Kobe Beef, no evil shall harm it. Nonetheless, Thanks, Spidey for watching over our beef. Let’s keep this between us, but please don’t tell Parker I got his position as a photographer at The Daily Bugle. I’ve actually been getting the hang of being a photographer in the superhero community.
