The Saiyan Prince: Super Vegeta

Vegeta, apart from Goku, is one of the best fictional characters in history. Not only has the Saiyan warrior worked his hardest to achieve feats in the galaxy to universal/low-multiversal level of power scaling, but he’s also a beast when fighting powerful enemies. This is why Vegeta proclaims he’s the Prince of all Saiyans and he’s not someone to be taken lightly on the fighting grounds!

As much as I love Goku, Vegeta is a different kind of breed when it comes to his character development throughout Dragon Ball Z, GT, and Super. What defined his badassery is the will to surpass Goku in levels of power and to become the strongest fighter in the universe. Vegeta is motivated by beating Goku and proving his worth to his Saiyan lineage. For those who don’t know, the Saiyans are a warrior race of superbeings born with monkey tails, which allows them to transform into Great Apes during a full moon. Crazy concept, I know hahaha.

Interesting Fact About The Saiyan’s

The further a Saiyan warrior is beaten he or she would receive a Zenaki Boost, which increases their power level to greater heights. What doesn’t kill you only makes you a powerful individual. There’s no such thing as limits unless they believe there is. Besides possessing monkey tails as one of their transformations they’re also able to become Super Saiyans. From what I know in canon continuity, there have been various grade levels of the Super Saiyan 1 form, Super Saiyan 2, and 3. Super Saiyan 4 which is a part of GT gives this incredible transformation look:

Lastly, the Saiyans can also reach godhood which puts them at a universal level of power. Originally, a Saiyan would need to partake in the Saiyan Ritual, yet it would require six Saiyans who are pure of heart to give one other person the god form transformation. However, Vegeta skipped over that process hahaha. But with the transformation, they would possess red hair in their base form look and would later obtain the blue hair variation of Super Saiyan in its god form.

Getting Back to Vegeta

Furthermore, Vegeta’s best fights in the anime would have to be against Goku (Saiyan and Majin Buu arc), the Ginyu Force, Semi-Perfect Cell, Majin Buu, Kid Buu, Lord Beerus, Goku Black, Toppo, Jiren, and Broly. The manga version of his character does throw mean hands against Granolah, Moro, and Gas. Either way, Vegeta is taking on enemies with tremendous power that scales above the universal level. It goes to show how far he’s grown since he first fought Goku as a villain and now Earth’s protector.

Why Vegeta Is a Freaking Beast

Vegeta inspires men to be strong through their moments of failure. For example, I can recall getting rejected by hundreds of jobs I’ve been applying to this year. As much as I wanted to give up on my search, I remembered how Vegeta struggled to become a Super Saiyan. No matter how hard he trained he could never seem to tap into that power compared to Goku and Future Trunks. Throughout a couple of years of constant training (non-stop), he finally had this breakthrough when he fought against the Mother of all Meteors. He obliterated it while taking some fall damage. Having no care left in the world, Vegeta had unlocked the Super Saiyan transformation.

His sheer determination inspires me to not bow down to defeat. Vegeta is a classic example of being the underdog who needed to train at greater lengths to be the supreme warrior of the universe. I can never stop myself from smiling whenever I see him make a massive comeback from every defeat and setback he’d ever faced. Whatever came his way he would be ready to scrap with his foes at any time of the day.

The important lesson Vegeta has ever taught me is to never allow limitations to define your life. Since we have incredible abilities within us, we should learn to strengthen them to realize our full potential. We all get defeated in some way through our circumstances in life but the only thing we can do for ourselves is something that means the world to us. Thank you!
