Planted billions of mortal souls with loving care

Producing a lifetime of hopes and dreams

Talents and gifts that spread across the sands of time

Humanities roots traveling abroad through land and sea

Creating nations of mighty folks of all kind

The origins of language extend beyond the tongue

The mother tongue which speaketh life and death

The life of a mortal tree sheds its leaves of lifetime experiences

Fallen branches of broken bonds

Leave behind the memories of a broken spirit

The body of a trunk which nourishes the soul

Earthly bound by the creator of the infinite universe

Finite is a mortal tree’s existence

For the body of a mortal ceases to exist through this realm

Yet the roots of life and love extend beyond the memories of the universe
