Osaka, Japan.

You have to remember how blessed you are.

I’ve been hard-headed about this statement, but it’s the reality of how we should think. Recently, I’ve been going through difficult times with my finances and feeling down in the dumps about my future. This current generation does feel like it’s completely cooked, and there seems to be soo much negative news stating the obvious.

On the bright side, there’s hope to do something about our current situation whether you’re feeling hopeless and depressed. For one, remembering how blessed you are when you have good friends, family, food on the table, a roof over your head, your health, and the energy to do something about your life circumstances. Secondly, making better life choices even when it comes with hardships and risks. Lastly, walking in faith with Jesus Christ while trusting him (I am having the hardest time doing this part).

Every one of us is fighting a battle of some sort, yet we have to learn how to walk on water. Giving up and looking at the world through a lens covered in dirt will only cloud your vision, and leave you depressed. We’ve all been there and had those days.

Let’s find our reason to be grateful for what we have and see our lives leading down to something brighter in the midst of our struggles.
